New Mexico’s fastest horses compete for $1 Million in prize money. The Zia Festival race card features a great line-up of trials and stakes races all weekend that celebrates New Mexico-bred Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds.

Each year we induct one owner/breeder, trainer, jockey and horse into our Ruidoso Downs Race Horse Hall of Fame. The 2021 class of the Ruidoso Downs Racehorse Hall of Fame will be inducted on Friday night at Ruidoso Downs.
